Nursery menus
The nursery’s weekly menu, checked against allergies
Parents want to know what their child eats, and the director must avoid any allergy mistake. Hi Kiddo does both: a menu published for families, checked against each child’s file.
Updated
Build the menu
- A grid from Monday to Friday
- Four moments: breakfast, morning snack, lunch and afternoon snack
- For each dish, its allergens: milk, eggs, gluten, peanuts…
- A note for families, for example “fresh fruit every afternoon”
Check allergies before publishing
One click on “Allergy check” compares the menu’s allergens with the allergies saved on each child’s file. Each conflict shows the child, their class, the allergen and the meal. The menu is published only once checked.
What the child actually eats
The menu says what is planned. During the day, the educator logs what the child ate and how much, and parents see it in the app.
Frequently asked questions
Do parents see the menu?
Yes, once the director publishes it. Drafts stay hidden from them.
