Terms of use and sale

These terms apply to the hikiddo.ma website, the Hi Kiddo app and the dashboard. The terms of use apply to everyone who uses Hi Kiddo; the terms of sale apply to nurseries that subscribe.

Terms of use

1. The service

Hi Kiddo lets a nursery, preschool or daycare keep the children’s day (attendance, meals, naps, activities, photos), share it with parents, exchange messages and manage enrollment and invoices.

2. Accounts

• A nursery’s account is created by signing up for the free trial, approved by Hi Kiddo.
• Staff and parent accounts are created by the nursery. Each person gets their own access.
• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential. Tell the nursery or Hi Kiddo if you think someone else has used it.

3. Proper use

By using Hi Kiddo, you agree to:

• enter accurate information;
• publish only lawful content that respects children, families and staff;
• photograph or film a child only with their parents’ agreement, obtained by the nursery;
• not try to access another nursery’s or another child’s data, or disrupt the service.

Hi Kiddo may suspend an account that breaks these rules.

4. Content

The nursery is responsible for the information, photos and messages it and its staff publish, and for the necessary permissions (parents’ agreement for photos, health information). Parents are responsible for the messages they send. Hi Kiddo uses this content only to provide the service (see the privacy policy).

5. Availability

Hi Kiddo does what is needed to keep the service available at all times, but it may be interrupted for maintenance or in case of an incident. Hi Kiddo does not replace the supervision of children or the nursery’s legal obligations.

6. Intellectual property

The app, the website, the Hi Kiddo brand and their content belong to their publisher. The nursery and families remain the owners of their data and photos.

7. Deleting an account

Anyone can delete their account in the app (Profile, then “Delete my account”) or on the Delete my account page. A nursery director who wants to close the nursery’s account writes to [email protected].

8. Plans

Hi Kiddo offers several plans depending on the number of children, shown on the Pricing page. The price of each plan is given on request, in dirhams, monthly or yearly.

9. Free trial

The free trial gives access to every feature, with no card and no commitment. It starts when Hi Kiddo approves the sign-up; its length is stated in the approval email. At the end of the trial, the nursery chooses a plan to continue; otherwise its space is paused and nothing is deleted immediately.

10. Subscription and payment

• The subscription is taken out by the nursery for a month or a year and renews for the same period unless cancelled before it ends.
• Payment is by bank transfer, card, cheque or cash; an invoice is issued for each period.
• If a payment is late, Hi Kiddo may suspend access after a reminder; access is restored as soon as payment is received.
• The apps remain free for parents.

11. Changing plan and cancelling

The nursery can change plan or cancel at any time by writing to [email protected]; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Before closing, the nursery can ask for an export of its data; it is then deleted as set out in the privacy policy.

12. Liability

Hi Kiddo undertakes to provide the service with care. It cannot be held liable for indirect damage or for content published by a user. Towards the nursery, Hi Kiddo’s total liability is limited to the amounts paid over the last twelve months.

13. Changes to these terms

These terms may change; the date of the update is shown at the top of the page. Customer nurseries are informed of any significant change before it applies.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by Moroccan law. In case of dispute, an amicable solution is sought first; failing that, the competent courts of the publisher’s registered office have sole jurisdiction.
